One shot RP between Kisumi Mimsy and Star Amethysta
A Siren's Wine
Kisumi had finished her business in Wineport, carrying her "prize" in tow. Her fateful encounter with an old companion left her in high spirits. There was no more need to hid. She didn't make a big enough deal to attract small-fry into mistaking her for a threat, but something in her itched for it to happen. Taking the long way back, Kisumi considered stopping by Costa Del Sol when she spotted a face she wasn't particularly eager to see. The Wine-Colored Woman.
It had been a stressfull week for Star, so she decided to take a small break at one of her favorite places, Costa Del Sol. Ordering wine, she leaned forward to rest her head onto the table, she closed her eyes for a moment. She soon felt a pair of eye on her and she sat back up and looked to her left to spot the one person in the world she didn't want to face, Kisumi. Wincing slightly, she turned her attention back to her wine. Nope, not right now. Surely she had found out what happened last time she drank. Sighing to herself, she pushed the wine glass away and waved at Kisumi as friendly as she could make it.
And she even waved at her. The nerve. Kisumi had been told by a few people that Star was a lot better than what Kisumi saw, but friendliness was much harder for Kisumi to maintain than disdain. To be wary of someone was a lot easier, but perhaps giving her another chance is something she could try. After all, if it turned sour, Kisumi might get her itch scratched after all. She approached with a disinterest in her eyes that she simply couldn't shake. With a bottle of wine already in her hands, she tried to find friendly words, but they came out bitterly, "Found another place to drink, huh? Fancy."
Star's eyes looked away from Kisumi, clearly embarrassed. "Ah, I suppose?" she said gently and cleared her voice and felt her ears drop. "So, what brings you here?" she asked fiddling with her nails and hair just a bit. She felt that guilt in her stomach. Even if the person before her didn't like her for one reason or another. "Ahem," she cleared her voice and reached out for her wine glass to stur itslight. "Have you...talked to Codec lately?" she blurted out, before covering her mouth with her right hand and looked away from her. Her guily consious was growing the more she looked at Kisumi. Seven fucking hells.
Kisumi pressed er lips in a way that took all of her willpower not to turn into a snarl. The last time his name came from her, she was overstepping the boundaries on both of her boys. Codec was her, even if Takeshi faltered. Kisumi knew this. With a small breath to compose herself, she smiled with eyes like daggers. "Of course. On my way to see him now as well. Is Takeshi busy?" Or did she move on to some other man? Kisumi kept that thought silent, but after it crossed, she felt another tightness in her chest. She'd better not hurt Takeshi. It was hard enough to control him now as it is.
Star's ears dropped a bit and she smiled sadly at Kisumi. "At the moment, Takeshi and I are on a break." she sounded sad and honestly didn't want to talk to Kisumi about it. "We had a fight and we're in the middle of not seeing each other." she explained, before reaching out and sipping the wine trying to calm her nerves. "Well, I hope you have a *lovely* time with Codec." she said pushing the wine away again. What did it matter to Kisumi where Takeshi was? He wasn't her property and it frankly gaver her the jealous feeling in her gut. She was an emotional mess at the current moment, and Kisumi wasn't making it better.
"You did what?" Kisumi wanted to take Codec's words and let Takeshi be young and foolish. She couldn't deny that he deserved something normal, but he wasn't ready for it. Even Kisumi had half a mind to let Vei out in short spurts to get him used to the world before letting him off on his own. Takeshi was a time bomb that couldn't handle a punch to the face without exploding. Taking a step closer, Kisumi place a hand on the bar as a way to make private the words she was about to tell her. "Don't go back to him."
Star's eyes darted back to Kisumi. "Excuse me?" she asked laughing slightly." "You're not his mom nor are you with him...we're going to be fine." she said fighting the anger in her chest. "How dare you tell me not to go back to him...when you clearly were jealous he was giving me the attention the other week." she murmured as she stood up and glared down at Kisumi.
Kisumi sneered, "Jealous? No. Look, I'm saying this for your sake. You seem like a soft enough harlot, but if you make him mad..." She shook her head sarcastically. "I'm sure there are many other men you'd like to be with." No doubt a possibility as to the reason they had this "flight." Kisumi pressed her fingers to her collarbone gently, tilting her chin to stare her down. "But I didn't come her to waste my time on juvenile lover's quarrels." She made to leave, giving another comment over her shoulder. "While you're in your bottles. Do think on my words. You're not ready for him."
Growling under her breath, she glared over her shoulder at Kisumi. "You don't even know how he really is, Kisumi." she kissed as she turned to Kisumi glaring with Dark red eyes, before smirking. "You know...Codec wasn't complaining last week when I kissed him." she said with adark smirk on her face. "You provoked me, I'm not in the mood to deal with a bitch like you." she hissed out and put her hands onto her dagger.
Star lunged at her, but Kisumi was perfectly ready with her trigger finger. In fact, she was thrilled. After all, Star was only human, there was no way she'd lose. Tripping up on her fancy footwork, Kisumi stood above her with a foot to her chest, holding her gun steady. "Sorry, but unlike SOME, I know my place," She couldn't help but scoff with amusement, "So you really were unfaithful? You may think Codec a man, but he is far to virtuous to stray from me." lifting her foot right to continue her personal quest. "Now if you'll excuse me."
Grunting as she hiss in pain a bit as she reached out to grab Kisumi's let. "You listen to me now," she snapped glaring up at her. "You do not know my story or what's going on...I kissed Codec a week ago in Wineport." her ears dropped a bit as she said this and got onto her knees. "We both had a few drinks and it just happened... I feel nothing for him, so," she bit her lip and sighed gently. "I am sorry." she said breathing out a deep breath. "We used to be on a good page with each other and I don't know what the hell happened." she said standing up and wavering in place. "I'll stay out of your hair, I just won't give up on Takeshi. I'm already in to deep." she said walking by Kisumi, wishing she had her Astro-globe with her.
"Star," she called with a softer voice, "We were fine before you harrassed both of my boys at the bar. If you continue to pursue Takeshi, I'll kill you before he does. I can't allow him to turn into a monster, and I'll do everything in my power to prevent it. Remember that."
"Both your boys..." she laughed to herself and looked away from her. "Then, I'll be prepared. I'm not going to give up on him." she said gently and glaring away from her waiting on Kisumi to go away.
