Note: This is a Private Roleplay. If you are not participating, please do not post in this tread. (Participants: Farfalla Rousseau, Kallera Etoile, Alexis McCallister, A'vette Rayoh) Previously: In the midst of a rampage between the Elder Primal Odin and a large gathering of adventurers, Kallera and Alexis fell from their injuries, only to be saved from death by a Au Ra summoner that witnessed the aftermath. Alexis had been faring the worse of the two, so they along with A'vette took respite in Buscarron's Druthers, introducing themselves as Kallera and Alexis tried to recover from the primal's blade. I will edit this post to type out the log later, for now, screenshots are posted, log begins from the first screenshot, and Kallera's first line.

Alex thought about her response to the two speaking about their love lives, she herself being a single mother. She attempted a playful smile despite not feeling like a million gil at the moment. She would manage to talk, albeit with a rough quality to her voice due to her coughing.
"Well I think it just takes time to find the right person it does. You both be charmin'! Tis only a matter of time 'afore some bloke or lass fall 'ead over 'eals for ya both! I be single still. I don't 'ave me a girl me-self. Not found the right one. May-haps I be to rough around the edges to get me a girlfriend!" Alex attempted a chuckle, but a cough interrupted her. She was honestly fighting holding in the contents of her stomach. The light headed-ness from the lack of blood made her sick to her stomach, but she knew she would need food to feel better. She took a small swig of the water she ordered and then proceeded to bite into her boar. It was rather plain, but she enjoyed the game-y taste in her lips. She continued eating, listening to her new comrade Farfalla and her two acquaintances whom she already knew.

A'vette quietly listened to her companions speak. Her harp was still in her hands from earlier. Crossing her legs, she rested the harp to her upper leg and lightly picked at the strings. "I suppose I should look for a companion of my own. I 'aven't really put much zought into it. I've been so busy tending to ze theatre zat I 'aven't really 'ad time to zink about it." As much as she thought about love, it seemed a lost cause for her. She knew others found her charming, beautiful, but she didn't want that to detract from her work. She wanted her listeners to pay attention to her words, not her body. Though being drop dead gorgeous didn't exactly hurt. It certainly didn't for someone. "Zough, I did 'ave one keeping my bed warm. Many years ago."

The taste of the soup was one Kallera was long used to. The taste was simple, reminding her of childhood, it was one of the dishes her mother used to make when she got sick. Kallera wasn't sick now, but something about what happened out there to her made it feel right to have... As A'Vette made mention of being single herself Kallera looked at Alex with a raised eyebrow, then started coughing, hoping she was observant to notice the word "Kisumi?" in its midst before clearing her throat. "What a strange mood this put us all in!"she said, then turned towards Farfalla with a sly smile. "Mayhap this is giving you ideas on your own search?"

"It's not that important to me. Finding a partner, I mean," He gave a halfhearted shrug in regards to Kallera's questioning, avoiding eye contact to examine the soup of his. He always did fancy Roegadyn women. He had that idea of strong and motherly women that they could fulfill, which was his ideal partner. Not that he'd strictly detest harboring feelings for any other race as he did find himself liking two Lalafells, but it was the tall, and strong he liked the most. Of course, he didn't say it out loud, unless he so desired to receive stares of curiosity or just assume the worst of him for thinking so. Given his size, they'd find it almost humorous...
In any case, Farfalla went ahead and sampled the lentil soup, finding the chestnuts to be a strange addition to it. It did have a flavorful aroma, but he wasn't complaining about the taste. Gridanian food was something he hardly ate, more accustomed to seafood and other things native in Limsa. Never hurt to try new things though. Food aside, how did they even come upon the topic of romance. Weren't there two injured adventurers sitting here?0
He gave a small huff, almost annoyed with himself and that abomination called a love life - Damn his luck, "Not much for in that regard. I wouldn't say I'm charming either - Also, shouldn't we be worried about your injuries?"

Alex continued to eat smiling weakly. It was truly a wonder she was alive, much less able to talk about her love life amongst her companions after tangling with Odin. Farfalla would be getting the best cake she could cook. She'd have to thank Kallera properly too. She sipped her water and took small bites of the boar meat. She noticed Kallera raise an eyebrow at her. She assumed it was about her fancying women, and she returned her arched eyebrow with a blush and a sort of confirming nod. What was that about Kisumi? Most likely not her business.
The mention of their wounds did concern her. "Aye, I think Kallera might be needin' a bit 'o' arm mending. I'll be alright...after a night or two's rest I will... just gotta... get me blood back I 'spose." Breathing heavy between her words. Alex had a bad habit of placing others troubles and the worlds above her own. She was grateful. The spell had sealed the wound and stopped her from dying outright, and the potion had cleared her vision but her head felt like it had been ran over by a flock of fat chocobos! And her body just felt...empty. That was the best word. She kept trying to eat, but the lack of blood was finally starting to catch up to her despite having gotten a bit of meat in her. She could feel her eyes closing and her body slumping. It could also be a combination of blood loss and fatigue. Fighting a primal could likely tire one out. "I..just needs me a...little nap..." She began to fall to the left out of her seat, towards A'vette.

Kallera began to feel tired as well, her body felt beat up, yet she remembered getting cut, the blade sliding through her body and arms, her shudder as she felt herself standing while mages screamed. Kallera looked at her hands, which seemed to have anything but cuts, but rather bruises and discoloring. "injuries...i'll be fine. In fact...maybe I should have done better." Curiousity got the better of her, and she tried testing her darkside.
The red ribbons didn't fly, they stayed on her arms, as if stuck, Suddenly, Kallera's hand began to itch with a burning sensation, then the pain. She remembered, Godsdammnit, she remembered. "GAh! AHH!" She had to stop it, the pain caused the arm to swell as she breathed hard, fumbling for a response, she put pressure on it and tried to calm down. "What in the hells was that?!" It wasn't her control...in fact, it seemed like part of it was coming out stuck in a place it shouldn't, and another was fizzling through her arms...she rolled up her sleeves, for a better look, something was seriously wrong.

A'vette accidentally picked a sour note as Kallera coughed, clearly hearing the name "Kisumi." Her left eyebrow twitched noticeably in irritation. Her eyes remained closed as she attempted to maintain her composure. "It's impolite to talk about someone's love life thinking zey won't hear, Kallera." She would rather not get into this with Farfalla across from her. First impressions are everything. She frowned slightly, understandably upset. "Kisumi and I are... not in agreement on certain zings. I'd razer not talk about it, if you don't mind."
Alex's voice was getting weaker. Her body was slumping over towards her. Acting quickly, she jumped out of her chair and caught Alex before her body hit the ground. Her arms buckled downward. Alex was heavier than she looked. A'vette cradled her gently in her arms, gently shaking her. "Alex? Alex?! Can you hear me chérie? Parlez-moi, Alex! Don't fall asleep on me!" She looked up at the other two. "Don't just stand there, you two! We need to get her to ze conjurers! Maintenant! She's lost too much blood!"

He's polite, but not deaf. Yet, he wouldn't question the name spoken given the reaction it brought out of the woman. There's a lot more things to worry about than someone else who wasn't even in the known vicinity, a respectable decision. Before he could have done much else, the once calm ambiance had been plunged into yet another stressful environment. Kallera's in pain, Alex is passing out, oh my. No need to shout, he thought.
"Alright, come on," He beckoned towards the fallen duo and the bard, removing a few hundred gil to place on the table for the waitress to come by and pick up. Looks like their dinner was cut short, and he didn't have time to come and collect change from all their meals, "Not gonna get better sitting around. Either of you have a chocobo? Or would you prefer the aethernet... If your bodies can handle that."

Kallera caught a look at her right arm, then rolled down her sleeve when Alexis collapsed. A commotion started in the bar between some of the patrons there. Kallera couldn't turn the pain off, as if the mixing in of power and emotion was happening of its own in her arms, not that she knew what she was dealing with. A'vette shouted something to the two, begging for help. Kallera closed her eyes as the pain grew unbearable.
I'm sorry, Star.
There may have been a conjurer there, but Kallera wasn't about to wait. She fumbled for her Chocobo whistle with her left hand. Finding the whistle, Kallera whistled her hardest before slamming it on the table. Silence soon came over the room. Moomba would soon be coming...for Alexis. Desperation was in Kallera's voice as she left the chocobo whistle on the table. "Ride her to Quarrymill...now."

Alex could not hear much of anything as she fell over. Despite having eaten a bit and having a very talented healer such as Farfalla close her wounds, she was still missing a large portion of her bodies blood, that all too necessary crimson liquid. She felt dizzy, her heart was slow, and she felt...cold. Even as she neared unconsciousness though, she was more concerned with Kallera. Odin had done something to her arm, she was sure. He had simply cut into Alexis, but Kallera...something was off... What was a primal like Odin capable of? She was however too weak to speak up and ask about Kallera. Thank the gods a talented healer Like Farfalla was here to care for her, she thought. And A'vette would be able to help.
She could feel the warmth of A'vette's person as she caught her, and could make out A'vette calling her name. She secretly like hearing A'vette say her name, what with her adorable accent and all. Honestly, she simply enjoyed her voice, hells, her company. She couldn't hear much else. A high pitched sound...a whistle...maybe? She was starting to have trouble making out faces and her eyes were growing heavy. She looked through a blackish haze to what looked like A'vette.
"Avette...I..." Alex managed to stammer as she reached her hand towards her face, it trembling all the way. Her hand would only make it about halfway. It was all she could manage in her weakened state. She hadn't felt this weak in her entire life. She tried to speak further but she simply couldn't.
Alex went limp into unconsciousness in A'vette's arms.

Alex had lifted her hand about halfway toward's A'vette's face before letting it fall. A'vette caught it before it hit the ground. "Alex? Alex!? Alexis!" she yelled desperately, shaking her friends limp body gently. She had lost consciousness. Dammit, she'd lost too much blood. She was going into shock. "We need to get 'er out of 'ere. Now!"
Kallera had called her pet chocobo before dropping the whistle on the table before her. She looked at the Elezen. She was slumped over, her arm seeming to pulse with an energy she hadn't seen before. Shit! She took her whistle from her belt, blowing it to call Agile. She turned to the Au Ra. "Kallera's right. We need to get to Quarrymill. We 'ave little time. I'll take Alex. Monsieur, bring Kallera when her chocobo arrives. I'm not leaving 'er behind."

"Noted," Of course he knew they needed to take the women to the conjurers, but he already had that in mind long before anyone was passing out or cringing in pain, adjusting the gauntlet of his before rummaging into his pocket to see what sort of restorative liquids he had. It's not a grandeur potion of revitalization, but he handed the bottle with the blue liquid in it to A'vette.
"Here, use it for now. Keep her head from spinning... Or worse," Preferably not a coma, but unlikely. Never hurt to be careful. Right after did he turn to Kallera, picking her whistle up to simply hand it back to her, "I get being in pain, but don't break that pretty whistle yet. How long you reckon until your feathered friend comes along? Unless you'd prefer me to carry you..." Oh Farfalla, making subtle jokes in the heat of tense dilemmas.

Kallera look at Farfalla with a haunted expression. " Please, just..." no one took the hint. Not a one. Her fears and inner voices returned again.
A kweh was head outside, and her fears returned, "Moomba...Moomba!" she ran outside to Moomba, and motioned him to sit with her left hand. she couldn't afford to mount him the usual way.
Then she poked his ribs to get him to start sprinting for the road to Quarrymill, amidst blurred vision and dizziness as the arm throbbed. No longer calm and collected, Kallera ernestly feared for her life. The South Shroud looked less like a forest and more like a flurry of green. She hugged Moomba, desperate to hold on.

Kallera's chocobo arrived, and Kallera made a mad dash toward it. "Is zat elf mad? What in the Seven Hells is she thinking? She's in no condition to be riding! A'vette looked at Alex's face and frowned. "Dammit, Kallera, you don't have to be so strong for our sake. Let us help you." She shook her head. Now wasn't the time for remorse. She scooped up Alex in her arms as Agile arrived. Running toward him, Agile bent down to let her place Alex on his saddle. "Bon garçon. We need to get to Quarrymill. As fast as we can. Comprendre?" Agile nodded his feathered head, understanding her commands. Climbing atop his back, A'vette lightly spurred his companion with her gilded heels, dashing toward the bright blue glow of the aetheryte, her dear friend Alex in her tow.
